Report: Growing feeling Arsenal will sign 25-year-old in this window

Arthur has not enjoyed regular minutes for Juve this season. However, it was previously reported that the Brazilian was initially planning to stay put. But an intervention from Mikel Arteta had left him wanting to make the move to the Emirates.

that Arthur is pushing to join Arsenal. The Gunners meanwhile, plan to launch fresh talks in the next two days.

The report adds that there is a feeling that a deal will go through. Arsenal are set to take Arthur on loan, covering all of the costs involved.

Arthur could hand Arsenal huge boost as top-four race kicks into top gear

Arsenal received a big lift from signing Martin Odegaard last season. The Real Madrid loanee was outstanding at his best. And his performances encouraged the Gunners to make his move permanent.

Signing Arthur could have a similar impact. He is a player with serious quality. It says a lot that he has been signed by both Barcelona and Juventus.

Arsenal are now in a fantastic position in the top four race. West Ham were beaten on Sunday. And with that, Mikel Arteta’s men are now two points off the Champions League places – and they have two games in hand.

Obviously, Tottenham have two games in hand over the Gunners. But a win in the rearranged derby clash would leave Arsenal on pole for the top four.

A deal for Arthur would certainly boost Arsenal’s hopes of getting across the line.
