Report gives definitive deadline-day update on future of Tottenham player
A report from Serge Aurier will be staying at Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day, with no offers on the table.
Aurier, 28, is in the final 12 months of his contract at Tottenham and Spurs have been keen to offload the Ivorian. But nothing has materialised.
That is, even after said Tottenham tried to include Aurier in a deal for Emerson. The Brazilian will sign for a straight-cash offer of £26million.
Aurier is now well down the pecking order at Tottenham. Emerson pushes him into fourth spot, behind Matt Doherty and Japhet Tanganga.
GFFN claim on their live blog (Tuesday, 15:08PM) that no offers have been made for Aurier. It means that the Ivory Coast skipper will stay at Spurs.

Report says Aurier staying: Could he be released by Tottenham?
There is a chance now, that if Aurier does remain at Tottenham beyond the end of the window – that he could request to leave for nothing.
Out of contract soon, it would not cost an enormous amount to pay Aurier’s contract up in a lump sum. Or, the two parties could find an agreement.
Fourth choice right-back behind Doherty, Emerson and Tanganga – there is no chance of any game time over the course of the next six months.
One saving grace for Aurier, is that the Russian window is open until September 7. Russia might tempt Aurier.
