Report: Four Liverpool players expected to leave on loan, two could join English clubs
that four Liverpool youngsters could leave the club on loan in the coming days as the Reds look set to be busy in the transfer market over the next few days – including 10-time Wales international Ben Woodburn.
Woodburn, 20, has failed to live up to the initial hype that saw him become the club’s youngest ever goalscorer with a Carabao Cup strike against Leeds. He has since managed just 11 senior Reds outings in total.
The report states that Woodburn was due to join Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam, but a move to League One Hull City is now most likely. Sepp van den Berg is also expected to move on loan, with suitors from his home country and Germany.
Canadian attacker Liam Millar is also expected to move on loan after spells with Kilmarnock in Scotland, while left-back Yasser Larouci is expected to depart – with Norwich said to have shown interest.

TBR’s view – Woodburn and van den Berg need loans
But realistically, do Millar or Larouci have a future at Anfield? While loan moves are expected and with time running out to secure a move to a foreign side – Millar and Larouci might be better served to leave permanently.
Woodburn has enormous potential and while the chances of him becoming a part of Jurgen Klopp’s first team are small, he still has a chance and a loan is needed. Similarly, van den Berg is still very young.
