Report: Fleetwood Town manager admits he wants to re-sign Leeds defender Lewie Coyle and Rangers midfielder Jason Holt

, Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton has admitted that he would love to have his four loan stars back at the club next season.

Ched Evans, Jason Holt, Lewie Coyle and Harry Souttar could all be lined up for Fleetwood returns in the summer.

Barton said that he would love to sign Sheffield United striker Evans, who has scored 16 goals this season, but that deal hinges on finances.

: “It will be on the finances. I don’t have a magic wand. One side in our division has spent more on agents’ fees than our entire budget. If they decide they want him there is nothing we can do about it. They were sniffing around him in January.”

But Evans is not the only player Barton wants back at Fleetwood. Leeds United’s Coyle, Rangers midfielder Holt and Stoke City’s Souttar have all impressed.

Coyle and Holt have been regulars all season, while Souttar has impressed since his January loan move to Fleetwood.

: “I’d love to have [Evans] but I say the same about Coyley, Soutts, Jason Holt – great characters, who really added to our group.

“We are hoping they like it enough here that if they are not playing for their parent clubs in higher divisions they will be part of what we are trying to build at this football club.”

Coyle’s future at Leeds is in doubt as Bielsa opted to leave him out on loan even when there were injuries in defence.

Holt is currently out injured but his future at Rangers looks bleak and a permanent move away from Ibrox could suit him.
