According to , Arsenal star Aaron Ramsdale is yet to fully recover from the injury he picked up before the international break.

The Englishman has arguably been the singing of the season. Many doubted him when Arsenal splashed big money to lure him away from Sheffield United last summer, but he has proved everyone wrong over the last six months.

Ramsdale has kept 12 clean sheets in the Premier League this season. Only Alisson and Ederson (both 16) have kept more, but the two Brazilians have played more games than the Arsenal man.

The Gunners face Crystal Palace on Monday and Ramsdale’s chances of returning from his injury are hanging in the balance.

Aaron Ramsdale rated 50:50 to recover from his injury for Crystal Palace vs Arsenal

Ramsdale, , picked up a hip injury during Arsenal’s defeat at the hands of Liverpool at the Emirates before the international break.

The Englishman played most of that game with the injury and scans after the clash revealed that it was a serious one.

Bernd Leno filled in for him against Aston Villa and the German did really well. However, Arsenal fans are desperate to have Ramsdale back and there’s a 50 per cent chance he could make it.

However, the report claims that Arsenal’s medical staff don’t want to risk the Englishman and will only allow him to play on Monday if he goes through Friday’s training session without any trouble.

Ramsdale is absolutely integral to the way Arsenal play.

The Englishman’s saves this season have been brilliant, but what makes him stand out compared to Leno is his distribution. That has made Arsenal a really dangerous side this season, but it’s not a wise idea to push him for the game against Palace on Monday.

Leno is not as good as Ramsdale is with his feet but the German is still a fantastic goalkeeper. He has saved Arsenal on numerous occasions in the past and he’s more than good enough to step up if he’s needed.

Ramsdale, however, is likely to be 100 per cent fit when Arsenal host Brighton at the weekend after the Palace game.
