Report: ‘Extremely goal-threatening’ Spurs target has told his club he wants move
Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka in recent weeks.
A month ago, there was even one report suggesting Spurs were frontrunners for his services.
Since then, speculation linking Tottenham to Ndicka has cooled somewhat.

However, has claimed that Antonio Conte wanted two new centre-backs at Spurs this summer.
In addition, Japhet Tanganga and Joe Rodon being linked with moves away.
So there’s certainly scope for Tottenham to still be on the lookout for new recruits at the back.
Now, has reported that Ndicka has made it clear to Frankfurt that he wants a new challenge.
The 22-year-old’s contract expires next summer and he apparently has no intention of penning fresh terms.
‘Because of this, a farewell seems likely,’ added Calciomercato.
The Italian outlet also quoted sporting director Markus Krosche as saying: “Letting players’ contracts expire is not in our plans.”
This suggests the club will indeed sell Ndicka this summer.
However, Tottenham aren’t the only club in the race for the France Under-21 international.
AC Milan are reportedly pursuing Ndicka as, coincidentally, an alternative to Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga.
At the same time, the report does suggest a boost for Spurs.
Namely, that Milan considers Ndicka’s €15-20m (£12.8-17m) price tag ‘excessive’.

“An exciting complete package”
Ndicka would be a great shout for Tottenham.
Despite his young age, he already has over 100 Bundesliga appearances and 27 Europa League outings to his name.
Indeed, his efforts helped Eintracht win the Europa League last season.
Ndicka is incredibly talented, stands a mighty 6ft 3in, and can play at left-back as well as centre-back.
And then there’s his impressive goal contribution tally.
In May, journalist Christopher Michel told : “For a central defender, Ndicka is extremely goal-threatening.
“He has 10 goals and 9 assists in 135 competitive games. That’s enormous.
“His opening with his left foot is good, he is strong with his header and fast.
“His big weakness is that he sometimes switches off too early and recognises dangerous moments too late.
“But Ndicka brings an exciting complete package. A great defender!”
