Report explains why Arsenal have failed in Malang Sarr pursuit
Arsenal’s attempts to sign Malang Sarr this summer appear likely to come to nothing, according
The report claims that Arsenal have moved too late in their bid to sign the French defender, who is a free agent after leaving Patrick Vieira’s Nice this summer.
Dubbed a ‘leader’ by the former Arsenal captain, Sarr can operate both at left-back and centre-back, which appealed to Arsenal. Of course, the free transfer nature of any deal also proved a major draw considering the current financial climate.
However, that Sarr has already begun fielding options from elsewhere, with Italian side Torino offering him a lucrative deal and options in the Bundesliga under serious assessment.

Arsenal were too late to the party and Sarr is going home with someone else.
Doing business at Arsenal this summer will not be easy, with money said to be tight and the club potentially not having any European football to offer prospective recruits.
The Gunners are currently ninth in the Premier League with two games left, but could still leapfrog Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Wolves into the top six.
Once Arsenal are aware of their position for next season, the Gunners will likely be in a better place regarding potential transfer targets.
Until then, like with Sarr, Arsenal might find themselves coming up short.
