Report: Whether Heung-Min Son will be wearing the mask when he next plays for Tottenham
has explained whether or not Heung-min Son will continue wearing his protective face mask when the Premier League resumes. Spurs are next in action on Boxing Day when they travel to Brentford for a London derby.
Son suffered an eye injury ahead of the World Cup. He suffered a fracture around his left eye during a Champions League game against Marseille and for a little while his participation at the World Cup was in jeopardy.

The 30-year-old was never going to let his country down though. Son strapped on his protective face gear and helped South Korea progress from their group before losing in the last 16 to Brazil.
Son is integral to the fortunes of Tottenham, even if he has been pretty quiet this season by his usual standards. He’s scored three goals and claimed three assists in the Premier League and helped himself to a couple of goals in the Champions League.
The talented player has been a brilliant player for Tottenham since he arrived at the club. He’s a firm fan favourite and he’s been unplayable at times alongside Harry Kane over a long period of time.
Son situation explained by latest report
The player will hope to recover quite quickly from this latest injury setback. However, it doesn’t look as though it will stop him from playing, with the mask set to remain.
Tottenham are in fourth place in the Premier League. Some of their performances haven’t been convincing though and as a result, Antonio Conte will know that things need to improve.

Son is a world-class performer. If Tottenham have any ambitions of progressing in the Champions League and securing a top-four place, they need Son to be fit and firing.
The mask will remain for now and it will be interesting to see how Son fares in the Premier League wearing the facial protection.
