Report: ‘Exceptional’ player will now leave Arsenal in the last three days of the window, talks are ongoing now

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin will now leave the club in the final 72 hours of the summer transfer window.

That is according to Spanish outlet , who have provided an update over what is delaying his exit.

They say that Real Betis still need to register players for the new season and that will not be a straightforward process.

And they also cannot afford a transfer fee right now, so they are waiting for Bellerin and Arsenal to come to some kind of agreement.

Bellerin to leave Arsenal in the final 72 hours of the window

add that talks are now ongoing between the defender and Arsenal to finally try and bring his situation to a resolution.

It has been clear all summer that Bellerin would move on before the end of the transfer window, but the deal has still not been done.

Barcelona are now also on the scene but if you want to talk about problems registering footballers, they have even more than Betis.

The Spanish report says that Bellerin has turned down Udinese, and if he is going to move, he only wants to go to Betis or Barcelona.

Mikel Arteta has called Bellerin ‘exceptional‘, and clearly retains huge respect for him as a person and a player, but respects his wishes in terms of moving on.

Everyone concerned may have hoped to have had the deal done by now but Bellerin’s future remains up in the air as it stands.
