Report: Everton’s Fabian Delph on Burnley’s radar for January
Burnley could consider a move for Everton’s Fabian Delph during the January transfer window, that Sean Dyche wants to sign a new midfielder next month.
January looks set to be a crucial time for the Clarets. They currently find themselves inside the bottom three in the Premier League.

Burnley were quiet during the summer. So it will be interesting to see whether they attempt to make up for lost time during the coming weeks.
, one of the names on their radar is Delph.

The 31-year-old has not had the easiest time since moving to Merseyside for £9 million in 2019 ().
He has managed just 15 league starts for the Toffees. And just two of those starts for Carlo Ancelotti’s men have come this season.
, he earns £80,000-a-week at Goodison Park. So you could see why Ancelotti may be tempted to let him leave once the window opens.
His potential departure would free up a considerable amount of funds for Everton to do their own business. Having said that, Delph provides plenty of experience and offers versatility.
Much may depend on what kind of deal Burnley are looking to do. A loan may perhaps work for Everton, as long as the Clarets do cover the large majority of his wages.
