In total, the versatile right-sided player has made 66 appearances for the club. He signed for the youth team initially from Fulham and has risen through the ranks.

Back in 2020, it was claimed that Joe Mourinho wanted to take Spence to Tottenham. said that the Boro man was valued in the region of £10 million.

The performer played the majority of his football last season on the right-hand side of midfield. It does seem likely, however, that the Premier League trio would play him in defence.

He has bags of experience playing in both full-back roles, although the versatility he possesses could prove useful.

West Ham and Everton both provide attractive options for Spence

Jonathan Woodgate called the youngster during his time in charge of Boro and he had a point.

There really is no ceiling with Spence and he could become the latest in a long line of EFL players to star in the Premier League.

Everton have Seamus Coleman as their right-back, although they might look for a more long-term option prior to the window closing.
