Everton are interested in signing both Luka Jovic and Isco on loan from Real Madrid during the January transfer window, .
What’s the story?
It has been a frustrating start to the campaign for both Isco and Jovic at the Bernabeu. Between them, they have made just two starts in La Liga.

And that appears to have attracted the attention of former Real boss Rafa Benitez.
, the Toffees chief wants both players signed in January. It is claimed that he would want the pair on loan.

Jovic will reportedly be given the green light to leave should he want to. The Serbian has only made four substitute appearances in the top flight this term.
Isco meanwhile, will be a little harder to land. Defensa Central notes that his contract expires next summer. So a January loan may not work.
Everton may have mixed feelings about deals for Isco and Jovic
Everton signing a 29-year-old Real Madrid player may not sit too well with some supporters. Of course, they have only just offloaded James Rodriguez after a mixed spell on Merseyside.
Admittedly, Isco has enjoyed an incredible career. He has made almost 350 appearances for Los Blancos in all competitions.
.
But of the two, surely a move for Jovic would appeal more.
The 23-year-old has his peak ahead. And he has plenty to prove after a difficult time on Madrid’s books.
He would potentially arrive with the kind of hunger that has helped Andros Townsend and Demarai Gray shine so far.
A loan is not ideal. But given Jovic’s struggles at the Bernabeu, there would surely be scope for another deal further down the line if he was successful.
