Report: Everton to demand between £38.7m and £43m for Kean as PSG eye move

Paris Saint Germain are keen on signing Everton forward Moise Kean after his successful loan spell with the French club.

However, , the Merseysiders are demanding between €45m (£38.7m) and €50m (£43m) for the youngster.

Kean only joined the Blues in the summer of 2019 for a fee believed to be £25.1m rising to £27.5m from Serie A giants Juventus. However, his progress stalled at Goodion Park during his inaugural season at the club and he was sent on loan to the French champions.

He’s enjoyed a great season at the Parcs Des Prince Stadium, in just 44 appearances across all competitions for the Ligue 1 giants.

PSG boss spoke highly of the Italian after his display for the club against Nice earlier in the campaign, claiming he was ‘very happy’ with everything the 21-year-old does.

TBR View: Letting Kean go would be a huge mistake

Whatever your thoughts about the Italy international’s debut season at Goodison Park during the 2019/2020 season, he still has an abundance of talent.

Outside of Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, there seems to be a staggering lack of threat in the final third for Ancelotti’s men.

James Rodriguez has been a key addition to the Blues, however, has failed to stay fit for the majority of the season with calf and groin injuries taking their toll on the attacker. Meanwhile, and have combined for fewer goals than Kean this term.

And it’s not like Ancelotti isn’t aware of the side’s problems in the final third with the former AC Milan boss having talked about his desire to make the outfit more ‘‘.

Kean is the player who can make the world of difference should the club play to his strengths. He has already shown off he’s an able marksman and with Everton looking to take the weight of pressure of Calvert-Lewin’s shoulders, selling the youngster would be a baffling move.
