TBR’s View
All four clubs have a good record when it comes to bringing through young players and giving them a chance in the first-team.
If Scott heads to Goodison Park, you would imagine that he would need to prove himself with the under-23s before he forces his way into Marco Silva’s plans.
A move would evoke memories of James McFadden’s switch between the same two clubs when the forward was a similar age back in 2003. McFadden scored some important goals during his time on Merseyside, so Scott would become a popular figure if he did join Everton and enjoyed a similar spell.
