Report: Everton show interest in ‘brilliant’ 25-year-old Tottenham player
Dele Alli has attracted interest from Everton as well as Newcastle United, that the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been deemed surplus to requirements by Antonio Conte.
Dele is one of the players who has already had a turbulent time since Conte was appointed at Tottenham. He has featured in a handful of Premier League games.

In fact, he was lauded after his bright display against Liverpool. It appeared that that performance could be a turning point for the 25-year-old.
However, that seems to have actually been a false dawn. He has not featured for Spurs since December. And he was nowhere to be seen as Tottenham faced Chelsea on Sunday.

Tottenham’s focus now will be bringing players in and moving players on in the final days of the January transfer window. that one of those who could leave is Dele.
Conte has decided that he is not needed. And he may now get the chance to join a Premier League rival.
The Telegraph suggests that Everton have shown interest in Dele. Meanwhile, Newcastle are also admirers of the England international.
Dele leaving Tottenham for Everton loan could be ideal for all parties
Dele leaving Tottenham on loan may evoke memories of the move Jesse Lingard made 12 months ago. Of course, that spell at West Ham threatened to be a game-changer for the Manchester United man.
Everton are not in the same position the Hammers found themselves in. But there is a little more hope on Merseyside. Duncan Ferguson is back in caretaker charge. And Rafa Benitez has moved on.
Everton is a massive club. And they have the potential to put a run together to rapidly move themselves away from the periphery of the relegation battle.
Dele is a player who can produce moments of magic. He was labelled ‘‘ by Ian Wright after a display early on this season.
Everton face several of Tottenham’s top four rivals before the campaign concludes. So he could yet have a role to play in Spurs’ end to the season.
And he may return in a much better place. That would leave Tottenham in a position to either sell him or perhaps hand him one final chance.
