Report: Everton prepared to make £43m Ancelotti-approved target club’s highest earner
A player reportedly sought after by Everton head coach Carlo Ancelotti is set to be offered a bumper contract offer which would make him the Toffees’ highest earner, according to a report.
Everton have been linked with Lazio and Italy striker Ciro Immobile, a suggesting that Ancelotti is keen on bringing his countryman to Goodison Park for next season.
has claimed that Everton will even offer Moise Kean in exchange in an attempt to bring down his reported £43million price tag.

The 30-year-old has been in superb form this season for Lazio, scoring 27 times in 26 Serie A appearances to put the Rome side in firm contention for their first Scudetto for 20 years.
It’s little surprise, therefore, that Everton are believed to be after his services – and the latest report suggest the Toffees are seeking to pull out all the stops.
According to , Everton are looking to offer Immobile a salary of around eight million Euro a season, which works out at around £135,000-a-week.
This would make Immobile the highest-earning player in the Toffees’ camp, exceeding the weekly salaries of Bernard and Yerry Mina, currently on £120,000-a-week ().
TBR View:
Immobile has been nothing short of sensational this term, his tally of just over one goal per league game contributing to Lazio potentially stopping the Juventus juggernaut’s consecutive Scudetto tally.
As previously reported by , the Italian was on Ancelotti’s radar a year ago, the player said to have been “liked a lot” and “desired” by the then Partenopei coach.
Admittedly, he would be a bit of a gamble for Everton, given his age and the fact he’s never played in England.
However, if he hit the ground running at Goodison Park and rattled in the goals that got the Toffees up into the European places, it would be seen as money very well spent.
