Report: Everton midfielder Fabian Delph forced to miss training
Everton’s Fabian Delph will reportedly be assessed on an injury concern this week ahead of the clash against Southampton.
The Toffees travel to St Mary’s to face Southampton in the Premier League in the final game before the international break.
Delph had to sit out of training on Tuesday and it’s a suspected hamstring problem that he may have picked up in the recent 1-1 draw with Tottenham.
It is understood that the midfield enforcer will also be absent from training on Wednesday, but that doesn’t mean he will be unavailable for the weekend.
The report explains that the Merseyside club will continue to assess the 29-year-old to monitor his progress.

TBR’s View:
Everton are preparing for a massive fixture against Southampton and it’s vital they try pick up three points going into the international break.
Marco Silva’s team sit 17th in the league table as it stands and are dangerously hovering just above the relegation places,
Meanwhile, upcoming opponents Southampton are just three points behind them in 18th and will draw level on points with a win.
Everton are already without Andre Gomes after his nasty injury and Jean-Philippe Gbamin is also sidelined, which is why it’s vital that Delph is fit to start at the weekend and they need him in the centre of the park.
