Report: Everton make £26.8m Allan offer, willing to pay £105k-a-week wages
Everton have reportedly made an initial bid for Napoli midfielder Allan, according to reports in Italy.
Carlo Ancelotti is a big fan of the player from his time managing him at the Stadio San Paolo and Everton have been credited with an interest throughout much of the summer transfer window.
Now it seems that Everton have decided to follow up that interest with an initial bid.

Everton have made an initial transfer offer of €30 million (£26.8m) for the Brazilian. The same report also details the wages that will be on offer at Goodison Park. Everton are prepared to offer €6 million-a-year, plus bonuses, to secure his services. That’s roughly £105,000-a-week, which would make him one of Everton’s highest earners.
It is clear that Everton need central midfield recruits and that Ancelotti’s trust in Allan is seemingly pushing toward this transfer agenda.
The Toffees would however be spending big money on a player who turns 30 in January who would have little resale value.
It will be interesting to see if Everton do end up making Allan the man to strengthen their midfield position going forward, or if they go for a cheaper more affordable option.
