Report: Everton left-back Lucas Digne to miss next two months with ankle injury
Everton have reportedly been dealt a major blow with injury news about their defender Lucas Digne.
, the left-back is going to be unavailable for the next two months due to an ankle injury.
The report claims that the 27-year-old has picked up the ankle problem during training and he’s now set for an operation.

TBR’s View:
Digne, who cost the Merseyside club £18million () from Barcelona, is one of the standout individuals in the Everton XI and it will be a significant blow to Italian boss Carlo Ancelotti to be without him in the immediate future.
With such a busy fixture schedule coming in the next couple of months, losing the France international is terrible news but it could open the door for 20-year-old left-back Niels Nkounkou to try impress during his absence.
The Toffees have some vital players in their group with the likes of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Richarlison, Michael Keane and James Rodriguez, but vice-captain Digne is as vital as any of them.
Nkounkou has looked promising during his first-team minutes this season at Goodison Park, but it’s a big test to ask him to emulate Digne and perhaps the manager will also look at versatile star Delph as cover in the full-back area.
