Report: Everton join Newcastle in scouting Joe Worrall
Everton have joined Newcastle United in the race to sign Nottingham Forest centre-back Joe Worrall, .
Worrall has been excellent since returning to the City Ground in the summer following a season spent on loan at Rangers.

He struggled to fully win over the Gers fans during his time in Scotland. But he has been hugely impressive for Sabri Lamouchi’s men this term. He has made 16 appearances in the Championship for high-flying Forest.
And it appears that his form is attracting attention. that the Magpies are interested in Worrall. And they are not the only side in the running.

that the Toffees are also scouting the defender on a regular basis.

It would be no surprise to see Everton consider a new centre-back in January. Marco Silva did not add to his options in the summer, and was not able to bring Kurt Zouma back.
Forest will not make a move easy for any of his admirers, particularly in January. It looks as though Lamouchi’s men are going to be in the promotion mix this season, and they will not want to lose the academy graduate.
It would also be a surprise if Worrall wanted to leave while Forest are challenging to go up. Neither Newcastle or Everton are flying at the moment, so he may prefer to see the job through with his current club.
