That may be why someone like Mourinho reportedly appeals. However, it is growing harder and harder to argue that Mourinho remains the Special One.
Some Everton fans will surely welcome Mourinho coming in. But given the constraints Benitez dealt with in the transfer market in the summer, it is hard to imagine Mourinho enjoying much more success.
