Report: Everton in talks over sale of player, Toffees want around £43m

Everton are reportedly in talks over the sale of Toffees loanee Moise Kean, according to .

The 21-year-old joined Everton in 2019 from Juventus for an initial fee of around £25million.

Kean’s arrival was met with much fanfare at Goodison Park given his talent and potential, but his first season on Merseyside didn’t go to plan.

In 37 appearances for Everton, the striker scored just four goals, and he struggled for game time, with only six Premier League starts under his belt.

Kean swapped the Toffees for Paris Saint-Germain last October and he has been nothing short of sensational for the Ligue 1 giants, scoring 17 goals in 33 appearances.

has claimed that Kean is loving his time at the Parc des Princes, has a great working relationship with Mauricio Pochettino, and wants to stay in the French capital.

The outlet has also reported that PSG president Leonardo has made contact with Everton, and they are working on a deal, with the Toffees wanting around 50m Euro (around £43million).

TBR View:

Things just weren’t going well for Kean at Everton, so it wasn’t surprising to see him make the switch to another team, and luckily for the player and for PSG, he’s been thriving.

Given he’s contracted to the Blues until 2024, their hand is strong in terms of any potential transfer negotiations, and if they do sell him, they should be able to make a good profit.
