Report: Everton have opened talks for Lyon attacker Bertrand Traore
Everton are now reportedly in talks with French club Lyon for their attacker Bertrand Traore.
The previously reported that the Toffees were keen on landing the right-winger this summer, but that he could cost around £40million.
, the Merseyside club have now begun talks with Lyon for the 23-year-old and his exit may be granted.
Traore previously failed to cut the grade in England with Chelsea, but has gone away to achieve success elsewhere and is still a relatively young player.
He made 48 appearances across all competitions this season for Lyon, scoring 11 goals and supplying five assists in return.
The Burkina Faso international is a speed machine that is a tricky player out wide and likes to cut inside on his favoured left foot.

TBR’s View:
Traore has developed into a decent winger since he left England, but is slightly one-dimensional on his left foot and his quoted £40million price tag is crazy.
Marco Silva should be looking to strengthen his squad next year and more attacking ammunition would be great, but the Lyon dazzler is surely worth half his valuation.
Everton appear keen on the wide man after opening talks and it will be intriguing to see what kind of deal they strike.
The Toffees need to ensure they have a group of players that can break into the European spots next year and they will have to go through the pain of watching Liverpool in a Champions League final on Saturday night.
