Report: Everton have now made approach for striker Che Adams
Everton have now made an approach to sign Che Adams from Southampton, that the Toffees are looking to take the Scotland international on an initial loan.
Adams’ future could well lie away from St Mary’s. He was not involved on Saturday as the Saints opened their Premier League campaign with a heavy defeat.

Plenty of clubs are keen on the 26-year-old. Reports have claimed that Leeds want Adams. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest are also admirers of the former Birmingham City man.
But it appears to be Everton who have made the first move. , Frank Lampard’s men have made an approach in recent days.

Everton would like to take Adams on loan in a deal that could lead to a permanent move. And while Southampton are publicly insisting that they do not want to let him go, they are privately open to his departure behind the scenes.
Everton have now made Che Adams approach
Everton appeared to be in a bit of turmoil in the weeks after they sold Richarlison. They had lost their best player from last season. And they took a while to really strengthen the squad.
But the last few days have seen the Toffees do some brilliant business. The arrivals of Conor Coady and Amadou Onana could prove to be remarkable moves from Everton.
And Adams would be another shrewd signing – particularly if they land him on loan. He has made an impact in the Premier League. And he would be the kind of striker Everton fans would certainly take to.
He has previously been labelled ‘‘. And it would frustrate many Saints fans if he got the green light to leave.
It appears that Everton are now looking to step up their interest in the forward.
