Report: Everton had Daniel Jebbison bid rejected; but remain keen
Everton plan to continue monitoring Daniel Jebbison after having a bid for the striker rejected over the weekend, .
The Toffees were shrewd in the market over the summer. They brought in a handful of players for minimal fees.

But it does appear that they did also make a substantial bid for the Sheffield United forward.
According to The Star, the Toffees offered around £5 million plus add-ons for the 18-year-old over the weekend. However, the Blades turned down the offer.
In fact, it has been suggested that they could demand double what Everton put on the table.

Ultimately, Jebbison did complete a move on deadline day. However, it was to join Burton Albion on loan.
Interestingly, that Everton will continue to watch the teenager.
Everton must fancy their chances of future Jebbison deal
Jebbison has shown this summer that his focus is fixed on what is best for his career. He has moved into League One for regular game-time rather than push to make an immediate return to the Premier League.
Nevertheless, the Blades will surely be under no illusions regarding how difficult it could become to keep the starlet – particularly if they fail to secure promotion.
And a move to Goodison Park must be tempting. Rafa Benitez is a world-class manager.
And joining the Toffees would see Jebbison work with an incredibly impressive group of strikers – as well as coach Duncan Ferguson.
Everton’s job will not be easy if he is a success with the Brewers. But they must surely fancy their chances in a future window.
