Report: Everton face Atletico Madrid transfer challenge for Allan
Everton have been heavily linked with a move for the Brazilian midfielder Allan this summer. The Toffees need a new central midfielder and the 29-year-old is well thought of by Carlo Ancelotti, with whom he worked with at Napoli.
However, coming to terms on a fee has not been an easy process.recently claimed that Everton are still reluctant to go above the £20 million mark for Allan. The midfield general turns 30 in January which is putting Everton off of the potential £36 million price-tag on his head.
However, if Everton dawdle much longer, they may end up missing out.

Because there is serious competition on the horizon in the form of Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid.
Simeone,, is a big fan of the player and Los Colchoneros are said to be ready to pay the £36 million asking price for his services.
Atleti have concerns over the long-term future of Thomas Partey and need to revamp following a disappointing season.
Everton fans have been unsure over whether Allan is actually the right option considering his asking price and age.
But if they don’t swoop soon it would seem Everton might end up losing out to the Spanish giants.
