Report: Everton consider loan exit for fringe player Jonjoe Kenny

Everton fringe player Jonjoe Kenny could be set for a loan move this summer, . Kenny has had to play second fiddle all season and a loan spell could aid his development.

The academy graduate has found himself below Seamus Coleman in the pecking order. This has limited him to just 13 appearances this season, including 10 Premier League outings.

Kenny has played 40 games in all competitions now for Everton. But Marco Silva opted to play Kurt Zouma at right-back instead of Kenny on the final day with Coleman unavailable.

Mason Holgate is set to return from his loan spell at West Brom in the summer. And Everton want a new right-back, .

This could leave Kenny as the fourth-choice option for Silva. And if Zouma returns, Silva might see the Frenchman as a makeshift right-back ahead of Kenny.

Consequently, the 22-year-old will need to consider his options this summer. He is set for talks with the Merseyside club but a loan spell could be mutually beneficial.

The England U21 starlet has previously spent time with Wigan Athletic and Oxford United on loan. And a temporary stint away from Goodison Park could be make or break for Kenny’s future.
