Report: Everton attacker Henry Onyekuru closing in on loan return to Galatasaray
Everton winger Henry Onyekuru looks set to head out on loan again this summer. , Galatasaray are close to sealing another loan deal for Onyekuru.
Last season, Onyekuru thoroughly impressed at Galatasaray. The winger, who can also play as a striker, scored 16 goals and provided six assists to help his club win the Super Lig title.
And he is now set to return to Turkey for another season. Galatasaray are hoping to perform well in the Champions League next season and Onyekuru is a major part of their plans.
The Nigeria international is currently preparing for the upcoming AFCON tournament. But he will be eager to resolve his immediate future sooner rather than later.
Onyekuru’s preference has boosted Galatasaray’s hopes of re-signing him. According to this report, he has told Everton he would like to remain in Istanbul for another season.

Spending another year in a familiar environment is the perfect short-term plan for Onyekuru. With a contract running until 2022, he will return to Everton in summer 2020 with two years remaining on his deal. This could be a make-or-break season for the 22-year-old.
Onyekuru has not been able to make his Everton debut due to work permit problems until now. But if he continues to shine for club and country, he boosts his chances of making it with the Toffees.
