Eddie Nketiah has seemingly moved a step closer to leaving Arsenal, that he has now rejected the latest contract offer from the Gunners.
Nketiah’s future has been up in the air for some time. As noted in the report, his deal at the Emirates expires at the end of the campaign.

And Mikel Arteta’s team selections have hinted that Arsenal are preparing for life without Nketiah. The 22-year-old has not featured in the Premier League at all this season, making the bench on just two occasions.
But it does appear that Arsenal have wanted to hold onto Nketiah. that the Gunners had made a contract offer.
However, Nketiah has apparently now rejected the offer. It is claimed that his decision is down to a lack of game-time, rather than any frustrations over the financial aspects of the contract on the table.

Of course, Nketiah could agree a pre-contract deal with a foreign club as soon as next month.
Arsenal fans will not be surprised to see Nketiah reject contract
Arsenal must have been aware that it was always unlikely that Nketiah would sign a new contract.
The Gunners have not been prolific in the Premier League this season. And yet, the youngster was still not getting a look-in.
Meanwhile, Arsenal also have Folarin Balogun knocking on the door with his superb form for the under-23s.
It remains to be seen whether Nketiah seals a move in January or in the summer.
But it does definitely appear that the striker is on his way.
