Report: Dortmund join race for Tottenham target Dusan Vlahovic
According to reports from Italy, Borussia Dortmund have joined the race for Tottenham and Arsenal target, Dusan Vlahovic.
makes the claim, suggesting that the German side have offered around £30m and Donyell Malen to Fiorentina. Vlahovic is one of the top young players in Europe, and is said to be in demand during the January transfer window.
Tottenham and Arsenal are both thought to be keen on Vlahovic. A report earlier this month had claimed the Gunners were actually close to agreeing a deal for Vlahovic. However, Spurs are also thought to be super keen.
Reports last weekend actually claimed Tottenham were ready to smash their transfer record to sign Vlahovic. But as yet, there has been nothing concrete when it comes to landing the Serbian.
Vlahovic scored 21 times last season and has continued to shine this term for La Viola. He has already this term, further adding to his growing reputation across the continent.
Dortmund joining the chase could be a problem, though. The Germans are known for giving young players the platform to perform. The offer of Malen is intriguing. The Dutchman was among the in-demand stars last summer, and went to Manchester United.

There is no way that the English clubs will simply get a clear run at signing Vlahovic this summer. A player like him is always going to be wanted, so it’s no surprise to see Dortmund in the mix.
Spurs and Arsenal simply need to make sure they’re ready to pounce. They have players themselves they could offer, like Dortmund have apparently done with Malen.
As always, it will probably come down to money. Fiorentina will want to maximise the sale as best as they can, meaning a big fee is likely.
