Report details contrasting reactions of Fabian Delph and Richarlison to Everton defeat
on the contrasting reactions of two Everton players after their weekend loss to Sheffield United.
Everton put in a toothless display against the Blades, who ran out with a well-deserved 2-0 win at Goodison Park.
Once again plenty of players failed to perform at the level needed for Everton. Two of those players were Fabian Delph and Richarlison. Delph struggled to get Everton going from midfield. Whilst he did not lack effort, too many of his passes went sideways and backwards in a pedestrian display from the midfielder.
Richarlison continued his indifferent start to the season which has left some Everton fans frustrated with the Brazilian. The rhetoric is that Everton’s frontman has come back from Copa America victory with his nation somewhat distracted.

will not help his image among some Everton fans.
They state that whilst Delph remained in the dressing room at Everton until 18:30 after the game, running the rule over a poor performance, Richarlison did not stick around. The Brazilian was gone by 17:16.
Of course, it might mean nothing but it does not read well that Richarlison was so quick to storm out after Everton’s latest disappointment.
Next up for the Toffees is a League Cup clash with Sheffield Wednesday and Everton fans will demand a better performance than the one on show against the Owls’ local rivals at the weekend.
Indeed, the attitude needs to be better and that means from every player, including Richarlison.
