Report: Darren Randolph set for £4m West Ham move
West Ham United are closing in on signing Middlesbrough goalkeeper Darren Randolph, that a £4 million deal is moving closer.
Randolph’s future has been up in the air for some time, with the Hammers going into the January transfer window desperately needing to sign another goalkeeper.

The Republic of Ireland international moved to Boro from the Irons, and has arguably been one of the best stoppers in the Championship since his switch to the Riverside Stadium.
that significant progress is expected to be made this week, with Randolph on course to make a £4 million return.

TBR View – Shrewd move from West Ham
There can be some disappointment when a former player is brought back. It can be deemed by some to be a backward step. But West Ham appear to be closing in on a shrewd piece of business.
Randolph’s form with Boro suggests that he is more than good enough to provide cover for Lukasz Fabianski. He is certainly more reliable than Roberto.
And for £4 million, there are unlikely to be too many complaints. It is likely to be a small bite out of the Hammers’ transfer kitty. And the move will see a major issue addressed early on in the window.
