Report: Danny Rose likely to exit Tottenham, but he’s ready to snub West Brom interest

West Brom will reportedly miss out on signing Tottenham defender Danny Rose, who has been a January transfer target for them.

, the 30-year-old is set to exit Spurs this month.

It is understood that the left-back’s deal with Spurs expires at the end of the season, but it may be cancelled by mutual consent.

The report claims that Premier League rivals are interested in trying to sign the former England international, but he’s ready to snub them and seek a move abroad.

It is believed that Spanish and German top-flight clubs have already shown interest in his signature.

Rose, who joined Spurs back in 2007 from Leeds United, has been frozen out of the first-team picture by manager Jose Mourinho and has been keeping up his fitness with the Under-23s side ahead of his next move.

The £60,000-a-week star () was at one stage one of the leading left-backs in the Premier League and has been a great servant for the North London club, but his exit is coming at the right time.

TBR’s View:

Rose clearly doesn’t fancy a relegation scrap with Sam Allardyce’s West Brom, so it will be intriguing to see where he ends up.

Meanwhile, Spurs have upgraded on him at left-back with brilliant summer signing Sergio Reguilon, who has been one of the standout individuals in the team so far this season.

The Spurs team that went close to winning the title in the 2015/16 campaign is slowly dissembling and Mourinho’s new-look team still maintain they can have their own title challenge this season.
