Report: Danny Rose asks to return to Spurs first-team training
Danny Rose has asked if he can return to training with the Tottenham Hotspur first-team squad, .
It has been an incredible day in Spurs’ history. The club angered the large majority of fans at the weekend with the news that they plan to play a part in the European Super League.

It was then announced on Monday that Jose Mourinho had been sacked. The news comes after a poor spell in North London for the Portuguese.
There may be a number of players who could benefit from Mourinho’s departure. And one such member of the squad may well be Rose.
The left-back has not made a single first-team appearance this season. And in truth, it looks highly unlikely that he will feature for the club again.

Rose – who earns £60,000-a-week, – is not registered in Spurs’ Premier League squad. So the only remaining game he is eligible for this season is the Carabao Cup final this weekend.
His contract expires this summer. Nevertheless, that he has already asked to return to training with the first-team following Mourinho’s exit.
TBR View: May make sense to welcome Rose back into fold
As things stand, it is incredibly difficult to imagine Rose playing for Spurs again. So you could certainly understand if Tottenham fans were against the idea of him coming back into first-team training.
However, it may make sense to keep the options open. If Rose impresses in training, then the next manager may welcome the chance to make their own decision on the 30-year-old’s future when they arrive.
