Report: Daniel Levy change of heart needed for Dele Alli exit
Tottenham Hotspur boss Jose Mourinho has given the final all-clear to let Dele Alli leave the club, despite injuries to both Giovani Lo Celso and Harry Kane.
with PSG in the driving seat to secure the England international’s signature given that Mauricio Pochettino is the head coach at the French club.
His relationship with Alli is said to be crucial in any potential move to the Parc des Princes.
However, the report also highlights one major sticking point, the approval of Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

Levy now needs to have a ‘change of heart’ over Alli in order for him to leave. It is suggested that Levy valued Alli at £100 million just 12 months ago. So letting him go this month, likely for less than half that amount, will be a bitter pill to swallow.
that Tottenham would want £45 million for Alli and are not open to a loan deal. It is a £55 million drop in value that will have Levy smarting.
For Alli, it is clear he needs to find his way out of Tottenham as soon as possible in order to play regular football elsewhere.
But with Levy’s reputation as one of the more stubborn men in British football he may be set for spending the rest of the season on the fringes of Mourinho’s first-team, all but killing his chances of a place in England’s European Championship squad this summer.
