Report: Crystal Palace enquire about £12m ace Jurgen Klopp deemed ‘absolutely incredible’

Crystal Palace have reportedly enquired about Ozan Kabak, according to the .

The Eagles are bolstering their ranks ahead of Patrick Vieira’s first Premier League season as a manager.

Palace have already made some great signings, such as Michael Olise and Marc Guehi.

And now the Selhurst Park outfit is reportedly looking at a player who did well on loan at Liverpool in the second half of last season.

As well as Palace, several Bundesliga clubs are apparently asking about Kabak.

The Schalke-owned 21-year-old is also apparently on Leicester’s radar, but the says they’ve not made a move yet.

Kabak’s suitors apparently feel they could strike a deal for around £12million or even £8.5million plus add-ons.

This would represent a bargain for a player valued at £45million almost 18 months ago.

Schalke will play in the German second tier next season and are said to be struggling financially.

Crystal Palace eyeing “absolutely incredible” player?

Liverpool experienced a crisis at centre-back last season, so they signed Kabak on loan.

The Reds had an option to buy him for £18million at the end of the season.

However, given they had already decided to buy Ibrahima Konate, they did not take the option up.

Nonetheless, Jurgen Klopp had great things to say about Kabak’s contribution at Anfield.

“Ozan was absolutely incredible,” he told the Liverpool .

“He did a great job and not to forget he is a young, young, young boy with incredible experience already.

“He was in different clubs, moved early from Turkey to Germany. Played in two big clubs in Germany in difficult situations, which is obviously not his fault.

“We could all see when he arrived here he needed a little bit of time to adapt.

“Then he played super games for us; I don’t want to pick any games out, but the two Leipzig games were absolutely incredible if you think how good Leipzig can be.”
