According to , Crystal Palace, Wolves and Southampton have sent offers to West Ham for the services of Issa Diop.

What’s the story?

Well, the French news outlet is claiming that the Premier League trio are all keen on the Hammers centre-back.

Diop’s contract at the London Stadium ends in June 2023, and it seems the Eagles, Saints and Bruno Lage’s side are trying to tempt the Irons into a sale.

Premier League starts.

However, he isn’t exactly the first-team star you’d have expected him to become, after West Ham spent on him.

say Crystal Palace, Wolves and Southampton tried to arrange a loan deal, with an option to buy – however, they were all unsuccessful.

For the right price, Issa Diop would be a great purchase

From our point of view, whoever lands Diop would be getting a fine centre-back, and also a great long-term investment.

The former Toulouse man is still just 24, which means he’s yet to reach his prime years.

Additionally, Diop wouldn’t need much time to settle at Crystal Palace, Wolves or Southampton, as he’s already racked up appearances in the Premier League.

He knows the division well, and only the form of Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson kept him out of the side under David Moyes last term.

On West Ham’s behalf, however, it would be quite embarrassing to lose a signing just a few years after his arrival.
