Report: Conte wants Singo at Tottenham; also eyes Belotti and Bremer

Antonio Conte wants to sign Wilfried Singo for Tottenham Hotspur, that he could also consider a move for two of his Torino teammates.

Spurs fans would be forgiven for already turning their attention towards the January transfer window following the announcement that Conte is their new manager.

Reports this week suggested that Conte could push for up to four new signings. And perhaps there is an outside chance, judging by the latest reports, that three of those players could actually come from the same club.

that Tottenham are very interested in Singo. In fact, it is suggested that an offer will soon be made with Conte ‘enchanted’ by the Ivorian.

Meanwhile, it is also suggested that Andrea Belotti and Bremer are also on the club’s radar.

It is noted that the latter is wanted by Liverpool and both Manchester clubs.

Bremer has been outstanding for the Serie A side this term. Meanwhile, Belotti has two goals in the top flight, despite only making two starts and a further four appearances from the bench.

Singo reportedly caught Conte’s eye during Inter’s win against Toro last November. Tuttosport suggests that the Italian continued to follow the club to keep an eye on the 20-year-old and his development.

Singo could be a fantastic player for a Conte system at Tottenham

Of course, many associated with Spurs are now expecting the club to change system. Conte has famously had a huge amount of success using a back three with wing-backs.

With that in mind, Singo looks to be a fantastic target. He is predominantly a right wing-back.

But he is capable of playing on the right in midfield, or as a traditional full-back. He even has experience of featuring at centre-back.

And given his age, it is not difficult to see why he would appeal to Conte after impressing against him last term.
