Report: Conte sent Tottenham scouts to watch two Spanish youngsters this week, one of them is really ‘powerful’

According to , scouts from Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur and Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal travelled to Spain this week to watch Valencia youngsters Jesus Vazquez and Cristhian Mosquera.
The Spanish under-19s faced Austria in the elite round of the under-19 European championships earlier this week and the game ended in a draw. Spain squandered their 2-0 lead but two of their defenders still managed to catch everyone’s eye.
Vazquez and Mosquera both started on the left side of a back four and although they conceded twice in the space of 13 minutes, they were described as ‘outstanding’ after the game by the Spanish media outlet.
Scouts from Tottenham, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City were all in attendance and it has been claimed that they all took notes about the two talented youngsters.

Mosquera and Vazquez are both products of Valencia’s youth system and they’ve broken into the club’s first team as well.
Vazquez, a talented 19-year-old left-back, has played 10 times for Valencia’s senior side this season. He impressed after replacing the injured Jose Gaya earlier this term and has since been given opportunities higher up the pitch on the left-wing as well.
Mosquera, on the other hand, is still only 17. The central defender has played five times in all competitions this season and is regarded by many in Spain as an outstanding player with the potential to reach the very top.
Valencia B team coach Miguel-Ángel Angulo told about Mosquera in October last year: “He’s characterised by a physical condition and good technical qualities, powerful in the air, and mature for his age.”
He was also described by the outlet as ‘physically imposing, accomplished in bringing the ball out, quick, and with excellent anticipation’.

Valencia have always produced top-quality players over the years. The likes of Isco, David Silva and Raul Albiol were all a part of Los Che’s academy at one point, and they’ve all gone on to have fine careers at the top level.
Vazquez and Mosquera both have the potential to become big stars in the coming years. They’ve already tasted first-team football at such a young age and it’s no surprise that they are attracting a lot of interest.
The report claims that apart from Tottenham and the other English clubs, scouts from Madrid, Barça, Atlético, Sevilla, Juventus, Milan, Atalanta, PSG, Dortmund, Ajax, PSV Vitesse, AZ Alkmaar and Feyenoord were all watching the pair.
It won’t be easy for Tottenham to secure a deal for Mosquera and Vazquez, but if Conte really wants the two talented youngsters, his side should get to work right away.
