Report: Club want £17m for ‘phenomenal’ Tottenham target; deal could impact Tanganga situation

Tottenham target Evan Ndicka is being watched by AC Milan and Eintracht Frankfurt have reportedly named their price for the defender.

Ndicka is one of a number of defenders on the list of Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici this summer. Indeed, just last month, it was claimed that Spurs were at the front of the queue to land the ‘phenomenal’ left-footed defender.

However, Spurs have yet to make their move and while they focus on selling Japhet Tanganga to AC Milan, the Italian champions have now reportedly put Ndicka on their list as well. claim that AC have put Ndicka on their list as a potential alternative to Tanganga, should that deal break down.

A deal to see Tanganga sign for Milan is thought to be close. However, Tottenham are said to be insistent on a buy-back clause being inserted into the deal. That is holding things up at the moment, with Tanganga thought to be keen on moving to the Serie A champions as well.

Should the deal for Tanganga fall through in the end, then Milan would appear well placed to beat Tottenham to Ndicka as things stand.

TBR’s View: Spurs Could Sign Ndicka If Tanganga Leaves

Well, that might be a logical move anyway. Tanganga needs a fresh start really and a move to Milan is a great way for him to get his career back on the right path.

With regards to Ndicka, it could open the door for Spurs to even make their move with Tanganga out the door. Ndicka is a quality operator and showed his class last season in helping Frankfurt to success.

This is certainly an interesting one to watch unfold. Milan clearly want Ndicka, but they’re also making contingency plans as well, which could rush Spurs into a decision.
