Report: Club to let 25-year-old join Arsenal on one condition; talks continue
Fabrizio Romano that Juventus will only allow Arthur Melo to leave if they manage to sign a replacement first as talks with Arsenal over a loan move continue.
Arthur is one of the midfield targets on the Gunners’ radar this month. They have also been linked with Bruno Guimaraes and Youri Tielemans.

that Arthur is open to moving to the Emirates during the January transfer window. He is yet to complete 90 minutes in Serie A this season, appearing just seven times.
Perhaps unsurprisingly therefore, Juve are open to the 25-year-old leaving Turin before the deadline. And Romano has suggested that discussions with Arsenal are ongoing. that the Gunners are prepared to cover his wages.

However, the journalist has added in the Guardian that the Old Lady want a replacement first.
Arsenal could receive boost from Bruno Guimaraes as Gunners chase Arthur loan
Arsenal definitely need to sign a midfielder in this window. They are incredibly short of options right now.
And there are likely to be plenty of supporters who want Arthur. He is incredibly highly-rated. It says a lot that both Barcelona and Juve signed him. The latter spent €70 million (£58.5 million) to bring him to Italy.
Some may be more in favour of a move for Guimaraes. He has been outstanding for Lyon this season. And reports on Wednesday claimed that the Ligue 1 side would now accept an initial loan with an obligation to buy.
But perhaps it may be Guimaraes who helps push Arthur towards Arsenal. Juve are also keen on Arthur’s countryman.
So Juventus signing Guimaraes is seemingly a possibility, particularly with Lyon now open to an initial loan deal.
That deal would potentially leave the path clear for Arthur to leave. And Arsenal are gearing up to make a move.
