Villa have been heavily linked with Abraham, but are yet to make a bid due to his high price tag.
However, there are still some doubts surrounding Grealish’s future at Villa Park, with Manchester City said to be keen.
If the playmaker does depart Villa are set to fetch a significant sum for their star man.
And those funds are expected to be reinvested in their starting line-up, with Dean Smith having Abraham in his sights.

Villa had the Chelsea striker on loan and he excelled at Villa Park, so claret and blues fans would need no reminder of his quality.
A move for Abraham may also suggest a change in system if Grealish was to depart.
It seems unlikely that Smith would want to drop Ollie Watkins and Abraham would surely be brought in as a starter, given his price-tag, so it could be that Villa shift to a formation which involves two strikers.
