Report: Club now ready to sign Arsenal ‘leader’ in next few hours
Arsenal could be able to announce the departure of one player imminently, that Udinese hope to wrap up a loan deal for Pablo Mari in the next few hours.
Mari has been linked with a move away from the Emirates throughout the early stages of the January transfer window. The Spaniard has not featured in the Premier League since August.

It was recently reported that a host of sides wanted Mari. They included Villarreal, and former Arsenal boss Unai Emery. But it was also claimed that Udinese was amongst a number of Serie A teams eyeing a deal.
And it would appear that the Bianconeri have put themselves on the brink of a deal. that the two clubs have been in talks over a move.

And Udinese hope to seal an agreement in the coming hours. Mari will move to Italy on loan – seemingly for the rest of the season.
Pablo Mari loan to Udinese could still prove useful to Arsenal
Obviously, it would appear that Mari is unlikely to become a regular fixture in the Arsenal side again. So a permanent sale may have seemed ideal.
However, a loan could still prove useful to Mikel Arteta, who once described Mari as a ‘‘. He is apparently on £85,000-a-week at the Emirates, .
Of course, much may depend on how much of his wages Udinese will be covering. But his departure does free up some decent space on the wage bill ahead of the coming weeks.
And it may help Mari put himself in the shop window and build up his value ahead of the summer.
