Report: Club now getting worried about their new £55m player, after beating Arsenal to sign him this summer
that Barcelona are now getting worried about their new signing Raphinha, after beating Arsenal to sign him this summer.
Raphinha completed a summer switch to the La Liga outfit back in July after an impressive spell at Leeds United.
Mikel Arteta was keen to bolster his attacking options over the summer but missed out on the Brazilian to Barca.
back in September that missing out on Raphinha was Arsenal‘s biggest regret of the summer.
But it seems that Xavi’s men are beginning to worry about the 25-year-old after an underwhelming start to his Barca career.

Barcelona worried about Raphinha
that Barca have been amazed by Raphinha’s technical ability and work-rate in training.
But the Catalan club are becoming frustrated as the winger hasn’t been able to transfer this into games so far.
Xavi’s men think the player has ‘immense’ potential but the difference between training and match performances is beginning to concern staff at the club.
Coaches at Barca currently feel that playing Ousmane Dembele and Raphinha in the same side makes it difficult to control matches.
The pair lose the ball more often than they retain it, leading to a lack of control during the game for Xavi’s side.
But AS notes that Barca completely trusts Raphinha to turn his poor start around and feel he will reach his full potential in La Liga.

The Brazilian has dropped to the bench for the last three La Liga games and was hooked around the hour mark in the two before.
has only scored once and provided two assists in his first 15 appearances for Barca.
Arsenal’s interest in Raphinha over the summer was well-documented and it seemed to be a big blow for the Gunners at the time.
But Arteta’s men are currently leading the way in the Premier League. The front-three of Gabriel Martinelli, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus have been seriously impressive so far too.
Raphinha would have been a great signing for Arsenal though and could have provided some much-needed depth across the front-line. He may have found it easier to adjust to life in north London too, having played his football in England during the two years before his switch to Barca.
