Report: Club in talks over ‘phenomenal’ Spurs player; could be a breakthrough in ‘coming hours’
Tottenham Hotspur have enjoyed an incredibly fruitful transfer window, bringing in six new players this summer.
Spurs have also sold three players, and now it looks as though another player could be leaving soon.
Japhet Tanganga has been linked with a departure from Tottenham over the past few months.

Several clubs have reportedly been eyeing the 23-year-old, including Newcastle United and AC Milan.
Now, has provided an update on the state of play between the Rossoneri and Tanganga.
‘In the next few days (probably Thursday), there will be an encounter with Tanganga’s agent,’ read the report.
‘Discussions over the Spurs-owned defender are ongoing and there could be a breakthrough in the coming hours’.
Meanwhile, the has claimed that Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is already in Milan.

Tanganga deal will likely suit all parties – TBR View
Tanganga was part of the Tottenham travelling contingent for their South Korea pre-season tour.
It was previously reported that Antonio Conte wanted to take a close look at him before deciding whether to sell him.
Now, it looks as though the Spurs boss has made his decision.
And it’s a bit of a shame as Tanganga was previously tipped for stardom at Tottenham.
In August 2021, a Spurs coach told : “He has the assets to be a phenomenal right-back.
“With a bit of work on how he can produce in the final third more – improving his crossing and passing – he could become one of the best right-backs in the league.”
However, Tanganga is yet to become a first-team regular at Spurs.
He is now 23 and will be keen to kick on and play regular first-team football.
And if Conte has deemed him surplus to requirements, maybe a move elsewhere is the best solution for all parties.
