Ndicka is one of Europe’s most promising young defenders, a versatile 6ft 4in ace who excels both at centre-back and left-back, and as such it’s little surprise that he’s being linked with Liverpool and Arsenal.

He is reported by to have a 25million Euro (£23million) price tag, which is unlikely to deter either the Reds of the Gunners, while his young age means there’s still so much potential that either Klopp or Arteta can work with.

If the report is true regarding Turkmen being earmarked as a replacement, it could be very interesting news for both the Merseysiders and the North Londoners in terms of making their interest in Ndicka more concrete.
