Report: Club hope Jorge Mendes will set up loan deal for 23-year-old Arsenal and Spurs want
Arsenal and Spurs could have to see off competition from Barcelona if they hope to sign Renato Sanches, that the Catalan giants want the Portuguese and could sign him on an initial loan.
Sanches’ stock is extremely high once again. The 23-year-old helped Lille win the Ligue 1 title last year.

And he followed that with an impressive showing at Euro 2020 with Portugal.
He has now been linked with a host of clubs. that the Gunners want the midfielder.
They also suggested that contact had been made.

More recently, that Tottenham have joined the race.
That report noted that Barcelona were showing the most interest in Sanches. However, it was claimed that they were in no position to finance a deal.
But it appears that the situation may have now changed.
, Sanches could end up moving to the Nou Camp on a season-long loan. That deal would include a mandatory purchase option.
It is claimed that such a deal would allow Barca time to recover from their current financial problems.
