Report: Club are now ready to sell the new Sadio Mane to Newcastle for just £8.3m

According to a report from , Newcastle United are ‘very interested’ in signing Marseille forward Bamba Dieng before the window shuts.
The Magpies have already signed Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood, while moves for Sevilla’s Diego Carlos and Bruno Guimaraes of Lyon are also reportedly in the works.
Eddie Howe, however, doesn’t look like he’s happy with just that. The Toon boss is reportedly on the lookout for another striker as well, and the report claims that he may have found his man.
Dieng, who is no stranger to Premier League links, is on both Newcastle and Burnley’s shortlist, according to the report.
Newcastle can sign Bamba Dieng for just £8.3m
Howe’s Newcastle have all the money in the world to spend on transfers now, but Marseille aren’t exactly on the same boat.
The report claims that the Phocaeans need to get a player out of the door to balance their books before the window shuts and they are willing to sell Dieng to one of the interested Premier League clubs for just £8.3 million.
Newcastle and Burnley are reportedly the keenest at the moment but the report claims that London sides Crystal Palace and West Ham have also enquired about the 21-year-old, who has scored four goals in all competitions this season.

TBR View:
At first glance, Dieng’s numbers aren’t impressive at all. However, when you give them a closer look, you’ll understand why four Premier League clubs are keen to sign him.
Dieng has scored four goals and has provided an assist in 527 minutes of football. That’s an average of a goal every 132 minutes in the league, which is a better record than Cristiano Ronaldo (182), Kylian Mbappe (169) and even Sadio Mane (214), the man following his impressive performances.
If Marseille are really willing to let him leave for just over £8 million, Dieng could well be worth the risk. His potential is massive and although he may take a while to adjust to the Premier League, there is a good chance he’ll come good in the near future.
