Report: Club accept Kim Min-jae bid but player wants Tottenham move
Beijing Guoan have accepted a bid from Lazio for Kim Min-jae, although according to South Korean source the player is holding out for a move to Tottenham.
The South Korean international is a teammate of Spurs star Son Heung-min and is valued by Beijing at around £13 million.
They are standing firm with their valuation of the 23-year-old and are happy with the bid offered to them by the Serie A outfit.

That might set alarm bells ringing at Tottenham who are desperate to bolster their ranks this summer, with a defender and a striker likely to be on the shortlist.
Tottenham have only gone as high as £11 million with their offer for the player and they must now act if they want to sign the defender.
Min-jae has played 30 times for the South Korea national team and should take to European football pretty well.
He is a ball-playing central defender who likes to keep things simple when it comes to playing out from the back.
Tottenham lost Jan Vertonghen in the summer and boss Jose Mourinho could be on the lookout for someone to replace him.
Due to his friendship with compatriot Son, it seems easy to understand why Min-jae is waiting for an advance from Tottenham.
He won’t wait forever though and if Tottenham want to land the centre-back they’ll need to make another move.
TBR View – Tottenham should up the ante to sign Min-jae
Spurs’ defensive frailties were laid bare in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat to Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

With that in mind, they can’t let Lazio win the race to sign a player who is available at an affordable price.
Beijing’s valuation of £13 million in the grand scheme of things isn’t a lot.
With Eric Dier struggling for consistency, Spurs don’t really have a lot to lose when it comes to signing Min-jae and Tottenham should definitely increase their offer.
