Report claims Tottenham’s Sessegnon and Skipp are set to return as club target manager who can mould youth
Oliver Skipp and Ryan Sessegnon will return to Tottenham Hotspur for next season following their loan spells with Norwich City and Red Bull Leipzig respectively.
According to , Spurs want a manager who can develop youth, much like former manager Mauricio Pochettino did during his time at the club.
However, it is also being reported the club isn’t in too much of a rush to appoint someone with a new coach not expected to be announced until after the final Premier League game of the season.
During his spell in north London, the Argentine helped develop a number of young players, turning them from promising talents into Champions League finalists. The likes of Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Danny Rose all progressed thanks to the management of the Paris Saint Germain boss.

Youth has been the embodiment of this club since Pochettino was appointed manager back in 2014. The 49-year-old’s enthusiasm for promoting youth was a sight to behold and took the club to the cusp of European glory back in 2019.
The news surrounding the club’s search for a new manager will be music to the ears of Skipp and Sessegnon, who were shipped out on loan by a person who was never fit to manage the team in the first place.
Spurs went from having a coach like Pochettino, who developed players and made them better, to having a manager like Mourinho, who focused solely on results and trying to win as many as games as possible.
As a result, there was never time for the likes Norwich City and Hoffenheim loanees, who would’ve warmed the bench had they remained at the club.
A new manager in the mould of the former fan’s favourite will help both players develop their game and potentially become mainstays in the first-team for years to come.
